Located approximately 3 miles south east of Stowmarket, Needham Market is a bustling small town whose high street, houses, shops and boutiques are full of charm and character.At the north end of the high street stands the church of St John the Baptist, substantially rebuilt in the late fifteenth Century, which contains a splendid double hammerbeam roof adorned with carved angels. There is free long and short term parking available, and public toilets which are located in Barretts lane opposite the church.
Across the railway line to the east of the town lies the peaceful and scenic Needham Lake, a local nature reserve with designated walks, play areas, fishing platforms and picnic tables. Facilities include toilets and free out of season parking.
